Five European countries, 11 organizations, one single message: sow legality, harvest dignity. On May 1st, Labor Day, the communication and awareness campaign SEEDS OF DIGNITY kicks off. Its purpose is to promote the fight against labor exploitation of migrants in agriculture and their positive integration into local contexts.
The campaign, presented at a press conference in the Sala Fiume of Palazzo Donini in Perugia, is part of the activities of the INTEGRALITY project, funded by the European Union. FELCOS Umbria is the lead partner, involving ten other organizations: CIDIS, ANCI Umbria, and AIAB Umbria (Italy); IMVF and Municipality of Fundao (Portugal); Center for Social Innovation and ANEL (Cyprus); KMOP and Municipality of Thermi (Greece); and Compass (Austria).
For approximately one year, various photographic and video content will be published in a coordinated manner across all partners' social media channels. This content will be tasked with conveying the campaign's messages—entirely centered on the concept of sowing legality—to citizens, territories, stakeholders, and migrants. The aim is to reap diverse fruits, ranging from inclusion to responsibility, dignity to job security, and mutual understanding to active listening.
Specifically, through video content—which will be produced in REEL format during the project phases—the following will be presented to the public:
- Stories of people, where migrants will share their personal experiences firsthand.
- Stories of communities, dedicated to local communities that exemplify positive integration.
- Stories of virtuous agricultural companies, which have made inclusion and legality their strength.
- Stories of products, born from legal and dignified labor.
Explore human experiences! Our "Stories of Dignity" video area features 5 playlists from the nations involved in the project, sharing powerful tales of resilience and hope.

The Integrality project is promoted by 11 partners from 5 European countries – Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Portugal, and Austria and funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) of the European Union..
The initiative aims to combat the exploitation of migrant workers in agriculture by strengthening European partnerships and supporting the development of multi-stakeholder strategies to facilitate full and positive integration at the local level.
We implement a shared strategy to support the inclusion of migrants in agriculture, focusing on legality and workers’ rights. Activities include stakeholder collaboration, training for migrants and agricultural operators, ethical branding, and awareness campaigns in local communities.
Our activities are addressed to all the actors that make up the local community: local authorities, migrant populations, civil society organizations working in the fields of migrant inclusion, trade associations, companies and other stakeholders in the agricultural supply chain, trade unions, and other public agencies.
Duration: May 1, 2024 – October 31, 2026.
We aim to foster the full inclusion of migrants and third-country nationals in local communities by strengthening the cooperation and networking among local actors, training agricultural operators on legal employment and equal treatment, and increasing migrants’ awareness of exploitation risks while offering internships to support their skill development and guidance for accessing legal work.
